I'm just curious...I see 2, 3, and some that seem like 10 ladies.
If you are in a troupe, what are your numbers?

Thu, October 29, 2009 - 2:43 PMRight now my troupe has 14 as well. Since I've been in it, we've had as few as 9 and as many as 17! I consider us a big troupe, though I don't really know what the average size is. -

Re: Average troupe size?
Fri, October 30, 2009 - 5:38 PMMy current troupe started as a duet and moved to quads now. I prefer small and so I'm happy with that number. The most I'll accept is 6 ppl.

Re: Average troupe size?
Sun, November 1, 2009 - 5:57 PMWe're at 7. I don't currently run a student troupe. I would like to in the future when my schedule opens up more to have time to deal with more than 6 other personalities.

Re: Average troupe size?
Mon, November 16, 2009 - 4:57 PMthe troupe in the next town over (Benu Dance Co. of Lincoln, NE) has probably about 15 dancers.
they handle improv by either forming a HUGE crescent and sending people out in small groups (typical tribal formation)
or by having two or three smaller groups improving in different ways at the same time. -

Re: Average troupe size?
Mon, November 16, 2009 - 4:59 PMp.s. Benu is a ITS group, they're very close to FCBD style
