first of all - hello to everybody, I'm new to this tribe :)
I'm looking for some nice Indian-based music matching tribal bellydance 'mood' . any kind, both fast and slow. indian classical vocal and drums (such as tabla , dhol or mridang) most welcome. exept bhangra (which i don't really like) and bollywood movie songs.
from my side for those who are interested in this kind of music i can reccomend:
Shiva in exile ('Manju' and 'Breathing' with indian vocal) , Solace (Album Satya and some remixes, i just love 'Saptak' ! ) , Karunesh (most of the songs are very ambient... but 'A Journey to India' and 'Punjab' are very catchy) , Endouser - Vishu's Eastern Block , Oojnami - sitare , Talvin Singh and Najma Akhtar - Ghoom Charakhna , Jehan - Rhythm Trance (and some other songs) , Niyaz (all songs)
btw...does anybody Know the name of this song? www.youtube.com/watch i would just love to buy it and listen to it, it's amazing. and that's exactly kind of music i'm looking for.
thanx in advance for replys :)
