How serendipitous....I move back to MN just in time to discover a scifi/fan con is held here every summer. (Why didn't I know that before?) Anyways, it looks like Basimah Kamar is performing/hosting a party at one point. Anyone else planning on making a northerly trek to ConVergence this year?

Thu, May 8, 2008 - 4:37 PMMy con schedule this year is pretty much full, but I did just get back from Costume-Con (was in San Jose this year, Baltimore next year and Milwaukee in 2010) and had a BLAST! I strongly recommend it to anyone interested in costuming - there were quite a few bellydancers this year and I have been assured we'll have a bellydance party next year. :)
